Today, on June 24, in Olympia, Greece, started its work the International Symposium “Becoming an Olympic athlete without doping. A holistic approach”.
Today, at the first day of the event, two sets of issues were discussed:
1. Education, Olympic values and ethics in sports. An important aspect was the development of technology in the sports industry, most of which helps improve the results of athletes in competitions at all levels. Also were discussed aspects of genetics and the prospects for the development of this science in sports.
2. The integrity of the sport and the protection of clean athletes. The speeches of the World Anti-Doping Agency WADA representative and the Russian Anti-Doping Agency "RUSADA" Director General Yuri Ganus with more details covered the current trends in the world anti-doping policy.
RUSADA is one of the event organizers.
