On January 17, 2019, Russian Anti-Doping Agency «RUSADA» held a scientific and methodological workshop "Ethics in Sport: Key Aspects of Anti-Doping Activities" for the specialists of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. Deputy Director General Margarita Pakhnotskaya, specialists of RUSADA educational programs department and heads of agency’s other departments highlighted the main aspects of anti-doping activities in the Russian Federation and in the world. In addition to highly specialized topics (doping control procedure, TUE, ADAMS), special attention was paid to the prevention of doping in sport, as well as to the role of parents and coaches in the process of building the anti-doping culture.
The scientific and methodological workshop is the first event of Russian anti-doping agency for representatives of university community. Specialists who have become participants of the workshop will be able to transmit this knowledge during development programs of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
On November 30, 2018 Russian Anti-doping Agency RUSADA and Plekhanov Russian University of Economics signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement envisages promotion of joint education and awareness-raising projects, as well as providing a platform for research and methodological support of the implementation of the anti-doping policy in the Russian Federation. The main cluster of events will be aimed at promoting clean sport values and creating a culture of intolerance towards doping among young people.
