Elista, April, 18 - on the eve of the Paralympic Committee ExCom meeting and the Day of the Young Paralympian RAA “RUSADA” Director General Yuri Ganus and the leadership of the Russian Paralympic Committee held a meeting with representatives of the republican community, including sports federations by disability types and the representatives of the All-Russian Trade Union of physical culture and sports workers.
Russian Anti-Doping Agency "RUSADA" Director General Yuri Ganus noted the importance and the need for anti-doping work in the region, highlighted RUSADA educational activities as an effective tool to counter doping in sport, and also thanked the RPC for organizing and conducting joint activities on anti-doping issues. In conclusion, Yury Ganus cited a summary statistics of the types of anti-doping rule violations. The meeting ended with a reception at the Interim Head of the Republic of Kalmykia B.S. Khasikov.
