Today on May 31 at Russian Olympic Committee was held a working meeting between President of the Russian Student Sports Union Sergei Seyranov and Director General of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency “RUSADA” Yuri Ganus and Deputy Director General on International Cooperation and Anti-Doping Issues Margarita Pakhnotskaya.
The meeting focused on cooperation within the framework of the implementation of student sports development concept in Russian Federation until 2025.
The plan will include educational projects and activities for young athletes and members of the student sports community.
The meeting was also devoted to the anti-doping security improvement in student sports and inclusion of a unit on ethics in sport and anti-doping into professional development programs that will be implemented on the basis of the All-Russian Professional Competence Center of the RSSU.
Russian Student Sports Union and RUSADA are to sign an agreement on cooperation.
The meeting was also attended by the specialist of RUSADA educational programs department Valeria Konova, the Executive Director of the RSSU Dmitry Kiselev and the head of the educational programs of the RSSU Mariana Pukhovskaya.
