On December 1, RAA RUSADA held an educational seminar for media professionals "Key aspects of anti-doping work".
RUSADA Director General Yuri Ganus greeted the seminar participants.
RUSADA Deputy Director General on International Cooperation and Anti-Doping Issues Margarita Pakhnotskaya was a moderator at the seminar. During the discussion session, the issues of forming culture of zero tolerance to doping in the society were discussed.
"Media are one of the key sources of influencing public opinion. Reporters who cover anti-doping issues, should have a necessary minimal knowledge base in this professional area, in order to report the facts properly", - Pakhnotskaya stated.
In conclusion, a brainstorming session took place, with reporters of news agencies TASS, France-Pressee, CNN and TV channels Match TV, Zvezda.
