May 7, Bucharest - During the 50th meeting of the Council of Europe Convention Monitoring Group, RUSADA Deputy Director General Margarita Pakhnotskaya was elected Chairman of the Ad hoc group for the Protection of Whistleblowers.
The group will include experts from various fields - science and education, law, experts in the field of investigation and data protection, ombudsmen representatives of national anti-doping agencies and European governments, the World Anti-Doping Agency, the International Olympic Committee and other international organizations.
RUSADA actively develops cooperation with whistleblowers, including joint investigations with international organizations.
The Russian Federation is a signatory to the Council of Europe Anti-Doping Convention, adopted in 1989. In 2019, the Convention has been in force for 30 years.
