On January 22, 2019, a working meeting was held by the Head of the Department of Physical Education of the Center for Humanitarian Training Liliya Andryushchenko, the honorary President of All-Russian Volleyball Federation, Merited coach of the USSR and the Russian Federation Valentin Zhukov and the head coach of Russian men volleyball team Sergei Shlyapnikov.
The participants discussed the possibility of signing an agreement on cooperation between Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and All-Russian Volleyball Federation on organization of development programs “Ethics in Sport: Key Aspects of Anti-Doping Activities” for trainers and specialists of the federation.
Previously, experts of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics have received special training in organization of development programs on ethics in sports and basics of anti-doping security. The training was a part of the scientific and methodological workshop organized by Russian Anti-Doping Agency “RUSADA”.
Specialists of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics have launched own implementation of educational programs and presented a program developed for national volleyball teams by experts of the department of physical education to the head coach of Russian national volleyball team Sergei Shlyapnikov.
RUSADA experts will take part in the process of monitoring implementation of these programs, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of implementation methods.
