International Forum of Young Olympians came to an end. Over 100 young athletes representing 15 national Olympic Committees participated in the forum, many of them will soon take part in XV Summer Youth Olympic Festival in Baku and III Winter Olympic Games in Lausanne.
The organizers prepared many pleasant surprises for the forum participants, including
performances and master classes of athletes, an interactive anti-doping quiz and other activities that created inexpressible atmosphere before the forum opening ceremony.
The teams went to the educational stations, where employees of Russian Anti-Doping Agency “RUSADA” and the Russian Olympic Committee spoke about the important aspects essential for a successful athlete career:
* Sport values
* History of fighting against doping
* How not to violate anti-doping rules, to maintain good health and reputation
* Nuances of the doping control procedure and others.
The educational activities were followed by the panel discussion with the management of the World Anti-Doping Agency WADA, Russian Anti-Doping Agency “RUSADA”, Russian Olympic Committee, representative of International Olympic Committee and the champions of the Olympic Games. The topic of the discussion was protection of athletes' rights in the current conditions.
The forum ended with an intellectual quiz in "brain ring" format "Play Fair".
The day of the forum was busy, it flew by quickly, leaving positive and bright emotions in the memory of the participants.
We are not saying good-bye, we are saying "See you again at the forum of young Olympians!"
