On May 25 in the conference hall of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus the anti-doping seminar "Role and Responsibilities of National Federations in Implementing Anti-doping Programs" was held, organized by the National Anti-Doping Agency of the Republic of Belarus (NADA).
RUSADA and NADA cooperate and support each other in many areas of activity. Thanks to the networking events of the anti-doping agencies it is possible to discuss topical problems and find joint ways of solving them.
The employees of the National Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and the National Anti-Doping Agency of the Republic of Belarus took part in the seminar.
RUSADA Public Relations Specialist Galina Kovrova made a presentation on the importance of correct positioning of anti-doping activities by all representatives of the sport community on the example of myths about RUSADA. The main reason for the spread of false information is lack of sufficient awareness. It is in the power of those responsible for anti-doping support in the federations to create a culture of zero tolerance to doping through various educational tools.
