On May 14, the RUSADA office was visited by the winners of the All-Russian Olympiad in Sports Medicine - the Sechenov University team “Olympic Tigers”.
The guys talked about what research in the field of anti-doping they had already studied, as well as what work they would like to see on the pages of scientific publications. Future sports doctors spoke about their desire to try themselves as chaperones when RUSADA organizes anti-doping control at competitions.
“Great experience for sports medicine specialists! We were pleased with the level of knowledge of anti-doping rules that you demonstrated at the Olympiad, and thanks to your experience as chaperones, you will be able to thoroughly study the sample selection process. This knowledge will be useful when organizing work with athletes in the future,” responded Veronika Loginova, General Director of RUSADA.
