On October 23-25, 2019 in Strasbourg (France), RUSADA Deputy Director General Margarita Pakhnotskaya takes part in the meetings of the European Council Ad Hoc European Committee for the World Anti-Doping Agency (CAHAMA) and Monitoring group of the anti-doping convention.
At the meeting Margarita Pakhnotskaya shared the results of the Council of Europe Ad hoc group on the whistleblowers’ protection, established in May 2019 and chaired by RUSADA Deputy Director General, outlined the scope of further work taking into account the increased interest to the issue of whistleblowers’ protection and the introduction of the relevant article in the new version of the World Anti-Doping Code 2021.
Qatar has expressed its intention to delegate its expert to participate in the working group.
