On November 22-23, 2018, the UEFA Anti-Doping Symposium was held at the Royal Institution of Great Britain (London), which was attended by RUSADA Deputy Director General Margarita Pakhnotskaya. The symposium focused on key aspects of the fight against doping in the context of team sports and football, in particular. Special attention was paid to the mechanisms of preventing anti-doping rules violations, such as educational strategies, intelligent testing, etc., as well as to the need for balance between athlete rights and anti-doping regulation measures in sport.
