On September 24, 2019 in Moscow was held a meeting of the State Anti-Drug Committee, at which issues of preventive measures against spread of doping (including potent substances and anabolic steroids) in the sports environment were discussed.
RUSADA Deputy Director General Margarita Pakhnotskaya took part in the Committee’s meeting and presented a report on RUSADA activities, including part on agency’s mission and its main objectives, as well as provided statistics on RUSADA's activities for previous 8 months since the beginning of 2019.
The State Anti-Drug Committee was formed by the President of the Russian Federation decree in 2007 and is designed to coordinate the efforts of various departments involved in the fight against illegal trafficking of narcotic substances, psychotropic substances and their precursors.
