On January 12 – 14, 2022, a series of informational and educational workshops was held for members of RAA RUSADA Disciplinary Anti-Doping Committee.
The first day of the program was devoted to the following topics: “Types of anti-doping rules violations” and “Responsibility of athletes and other persons”. The participants discussed the key articles of the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards. Representatives of RUSADA Investigation Department spoke about the main stages of the investigation process of possible ADRV cases, as well as about the law enforcement practice in case of relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
On the second day of the training, RUSADA Results Management staff shared their experience in managing cases in compliance with the provisions of the International Standard for Results Management. Head of the Agency’s Testing Department made a presentation on requirements to providing whereabouts for athletes.
On the final day of the training, Deputy Head of the Russian Olympic Committee’s Legal Department outlined the most important precedents in CAS practice.
In 2022, training workshops for members of RUSADA Disciplinary Anti-Doping Committee will be held on a regular basis.
