On March 3-4, 2020, RUSADA Deputy Director General Margarita Pakhnotskaya took part in a meeting of the Council of Europe’s Advisory Group on Legal Issues (T-DO LI) of the Anti-doping Convention Monitoring Group in Strasbourg (France).
Agenda of the meeting focused on doping related legislation criminalization at the national legislation level, analysis of the Rodchenkov Act extraterritorial effect. Was presented interaction experience of other Аnti-Doping Convention groups: groups on science, whistle-blower protection, and athletes' rights with the legal experts group.
A separate session focused on 2021 World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards Review, possible challenges and potentially problematic areas that require appropriate updating of national legislation in different areas.
