For several years, the Elbrus region has been acting as the leading Russian center for summer training of athletes in winter sports.
On June 20 and 21, 2022, at the invitation of the Russian Ski Federation, Kirill Volobuev, Chief Specialist of the RUSADA Educational Program Implementation Department, conducted a series of educational seminars for children aged 14-16. The events were attended by 95 young athletes participating in training camps.
Athletes studied the types of responsibility for violations of anti-doping rules, participated in the demonstration of the doping control procedure. An important topic of the seminar was a conversation about the motivation of athletes and commitment to the values of sports.
