RUSADA is taking part in an extended meeting with WADA, governments and national anti-doping agencies. The meeting is focused on the role of governments’ support of WADA in the process of the new Anti-Doping Code implementation.

Director General Yuri Ganus and Deputy Director General Margarita Pakhnotskaya attended an enlarged meeting of public authorities representatives in WADA – OneVoice.

Director General spoke on the urgent issue of maintaining the independence of national anti-doping agencies for the implementation and preservation of national interests such as the protection of clean sport in the country.

Margarita Pakhnotskaya spoke about the development of international and national legislation to protect whistleblowers reporting rules violations in the field of sports and anti-doping. Another important issue raised by Pakhnotskaya was the establishment of a productive dialogue between governments, international federations and national anti-doping organizations in the framework of anti-doping rule violations investigations.

OneVoice platform was established by the public authorities representatives in WADA ExCo and FB as a mechanism for ongoing co-ordination with a view to facilitating information exchange and developing informed consolidated positions on anti-doping and WADA related matters. The platform facilitates the preparation of public authorities to the meetings of the WADA ExCo and FB and co-ordinates the reflections on strategic matters of WADA development. The Secretariat of the OneVoice is ensured by the Council of Europe.
