Within the framework of the XIII International Sports Forum "Russia – A Sporting Power" in Samara, a panel session titled "Anti-Doping Policy Today: Structure, Regulations, and Priority Development Directions" was held. The session was organized by RUSADA in cooperation with the Russian Ministry of Sport. Taking place on November 5 at the "Solidarnost’ Samara Arena" venue, participants discussed the current state of the national anti-doping system and prospects for its improvement.
Special attention during the session was paid to increasing the engagement of all participants in the anti-doping system: from sports federations to regional government bodies. For instance, the Russian Ministry of Sport plans to implement a transparent rating system for the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, which will serve as an incentive for the systemic development of anti-doping culture at the local level. Participants noted that such rating will allow for the identification of best practices to be replicated all over the country. Positive feedback was also shared regarding RUSADA's informational and educational initiatives such as forums, round tables, and training seminars regularly conducted across Russia. According to representatives of regions and federations, these events play a crucial role in the continuous professional development of specialists responsible for anti-doping and enable the swift implementation of the most modern approaches in preventive work with athletes and their entourage.
