RUSADA implements anti-doping educational programs in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code, International Standard for Education and All-Russian Anti-Doping Rules.
RUSADA identifies target groups and develops an education plan in accordance with the requirements of International Standard for Education.
Receiving anti-doping education is an athlete's right and is intended to protect his/her right to take part in competitions that are free of doping. In accordance with the principles of the World Anti-Doping Program, an athlete's first introduction to anti-doping should be through educational programs and not during his/her first doping control procedure. The implementation of such preventive programs is aimed at reducing the number of intentional and unintentional violations of anti-doping rules by athletes, athlete support personnel and other persons.
Applying advanced approaches in the field of anti-doping education, RUSADA strives to create a stable system for developing an anti-doping culture in sports society and increasing the availability of high-quality anti-doping education for Russian athletes and athlete support personnel.
In order to create a unified and harmonious system of anti-doping education in the Russian Federation at all levels, when drawing up and implementing the Educational Plan, RUSADA closely interacts with executive authorities in the field of physical culture and sports of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as well as with all-Russian sports federations.
For convenience of international stakeholders, the full version of the Educational plan 2024 will be published soon.
