On the first day of the "Russia – A Sporting Power" forum, an agreement on joint anti-doping efforts in sport was signed between the RUSADA and the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sport of Kursk Region. The agreement was signed by RUSADA Director General Veronika Loginova and Minister of Physical Culture and Sport of Kursk Region Natalia Zhigalova. The document establishes a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening clean sport, developing anti-doping culture, and raising awareness among athletes, coaches, and all participants in the sport process.
For the past 3 years, Kursk Region has been one of the leaders in RUSADA's regional ranking. Representatives of the region regularly participate in key RUSADA events and themselves organize informational sessions for athletes and their support personnel. Furthermore, an anti-doping education program for medical personnel is being implemented in the region. This interdisciplinary approach facilitates the formation of a unified anti-doping environment within the region.
