Dietary supplements with the taste of prohibited substances: RUSADA will hold an online meeting on the risks of athletes using dietary supplements.
On December 12, RUSADA will hold an open online meeting dedicated to the problem of athletes using dietary supplements and specialized sports products that may be contaminated with substances prohibited in sports.
RUSADA experts, representatives of the self-regulatory organization Union of Food Supplement Manufacturers and the Federal Medical and Biological Agency will join forces to discuss ways to reduce the risks associated with athletes using contaminated supplements.
During the meeting, attendees will discuss:
- The risks of using dietary supplements
- Possible solutions to address this issue
- Cases of anti-doping violations related to contaminated supplements
The goal is to work together to develop strategies that will help protect athletes and ensure fair competition in sports.
Measures of state supervision in the sphere of production and circulation of dietary supplements and SSP, as well as the view of dietary supplement manufacturers on this issue, will be discussed at an online meeting on the Mirapolis platform on December 12th, 2024 at 11:00 AM Moscow time.
The meeting will last for two hours and the number of participants will be limited due to technical limitations of the platform.
