The VII International Forum of Young Olympians took place on June 4 in Vyborg. RUSADA has been participating in the Forum for the seventh consecutive year and was one of its founding organizers. Events like this are a priceless opportunity for open dialogue and for promoting the principles of fair play and clean sport.

Once again, RUSADA organized the anti-doping segment of the event, featuring the interactive quiz "Outreach." At the RUSADA stand, young athletes from 26 countries tested their knowledge of anti-doping rules and principles of clean sport. The quiz format allows for engaging discussions on serious topics with children and teenagers, helping them to retain crucial information. All quiz participants received souvenirs from RUSADA.

Valeria Konova, Head of the Department for Development and Implementation of Educational Programs at RUSADA, delivered a welcome address at the opening ceremony:

"Sport is a unique phenomenon in every person’s life. It opens up countless opportunities and shapes character and the right value system. Doping, on the other hand, contradicts the spirit of sport and the values of Olympism. The long-standing cooperation between RUSADA and the Russian Olympic Committee has enabled us to implement numerous joint educational initiatives aimed at fostering an anti-doping culture among young athletes. The International Forum of Young Olympians is exactly one such project. We once again invite everyone to the interactive RUSADA zone, where you can test your anti-doping knowledge and win prizes."

One of the key events of the Forum was a panel discussion on sports ethics. Alongside Olympic champions, Evgeny Khristenko, Senior Specialist from RUSADA’s Department for Development and Implementation of Educational Programs, joined the dialogue with young athletes.
