On November 12, 2019, Ministry of sports of Russian Federation held a meeting of a doping prevention in sport and fight against it interdepartmental working group.
The meeting was attended by Russian Anti-Doping Agency "RUSADA", Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia, Ministry of sport of the Russian Federation, Ministry of health, Ministry of labour and social protection of the Russian Federation, FMBA, ROC, RPC.
The group discussed amendments to the Labor code, a review of the main changes to the Prohibited list 2020, proposals for the implementation of measures aimed at doping prevention in fitness centers.
In the framework of the working group and National plan on fight against doping in Russian sport Set of measures RUSADA Deputy Director General Margarita Pakhnotskaya proposed to consider issues related to the protection of persons providing information on violations in the field of sport and anti-doping, as well as issues concerning the mechanisms for the implementation of measures to review and return the disqualified athletes prize money. These issues are strategic, as they are included in the world anti-Doping Code 2021, and are also discussed at meetings of the Council of Europe and UNESCO.
The meeting was also attended by RUSADA therapeutic use of prohibited substances department head Pavel Khorkin and RUSADA investigation department head Leonid Ivanov.
