On October 21, 2019, RUSADA Deputy Director General Margarita Pakhnotskaya and chief specialist of RUSADA educational programs department Valeriya Konova took part in a meeting of the Russian Federation of Synchronized Swimming Executive Committee in the Russian Olympic Committee. The agenda of the meeting included an issue of anti-doping rules violations prevention.
Margarita Pakhnotskaya noted the role of interactions between all-Russian and regional sports federations with regard to implementation of awareness-raising and educational programs for athletes and their entourage on key aspects of anti-doping security. Valeriya Konova made a presentation on types of anti-doping rules violations and responsibility of athletes and athletes’ personnel.
