From June 25 to July 7, the VIII International Sports Games “Children of Asia” will be held in Yakutsk, aimed at promoting children’s sports in Asia, instilling Olympic values among young athletes and strengthening international cooperation in the field of children’s sports.
On May 22 in Yakutsk, representatives of the «Children of Asia» Organizing Committee, ROC and RUSADA discussed the process of preparing for the events. As part of the meeting, they visited the athletes’ village, where the educational program “Path to Olympus” will take place, and school No. 39 named after. N.I. Sharin, where the VI International Forum of Young Olympians will take place.
RUSADA is preparing an extensive educational program for Games participants. The “Path to Olympus” project, which has proven itself well at the Winter Games in Kuzbass, will help young Olympians better understand anti-doping rules, as well as study the rights and responsibilities of athletes. In addition, athletes will be able to undergo a simulated doping control procedure and test their anti-doping knowledge on interactive Outreach quiz.
