On October 24-25, the II Global Educational Conference of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) was held in Beijing, China. RUSADA was represented by Director General Yuri Ganus, Deputy Director General Margarita Pakhnotskaya and specialists of educational department Ekaterina Sizikova and Maxim Peteraitis. More than 160 colleagues from national and regional anti-doping agencies, international organizations and sports federations, universities and companies from more than 60 countries worldwide participated in discussions and practical sessions. The agenda of the event focused on innovation, harmonization and interaction - the most important components for effectiveness of educational programs. The International Education Standard will be published in 2019 and will present the educational anti-doping programs requirements for national anti-doping agencies and sports federations, and will set the implementation criteria for these programs.
RUSADA uses modern technologies for implementation of the 2018-2020 educational strategy and the latest tools for learning:
since 2016, athletes and the athletes' personnel can check medications for the presence of substances prohibited in sports with the help of application Anti-Doping PRO,
in 2017 the agency launched educational online platform rusada.triagonal.net,
in 2018, @RusadaVitaBot chat bot was launched on the Telegram platform.
