On November 18–19, 2025, the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow will host a pivotal event in the field of sports law and ethics: the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference on Sports Management and Law, titled “Preserving the Integrity of the International Sports System: New Challenges for Sports Management” (hereinafter, the Conference).

Experts from RUSADA and national anti-doping organizations of Brazil, Egypt, Qatar, Cuba, and the Republic of Belarus will serve as speakers in the Conference’s business program. Anti-doping—being one of the most critical pillars of sport integrity—will be addressed across several key events:

  • November 18 – Roundtable of the International Anti-Doping Club of BRICS Member and Partner Countries: “Safeguarding Sport Integrity”
  • November 18 – Roundtable: “Professionalization of Anti-Doping Activities: From Standards to Organizational Process Reforms in All-Russian Sports Federations”
  • November 19 – Plenary Session of the International Conference: “Preserving the Integrity of the International Sports System: New Challenges for Sports Management”

The Conference will serve as a central platform for strengthening international and inter-agency dialogue on sport integrity. Participants will examine pressing threats—including anti-doping rule violations, result manipulation, ethical breaches, and violations of athletes’ rights—assess the effectiveness of existing safeguards, and propose practical solutions for integrating integrity standards into the operations of sports organizations.

Particular emphasis will be placed on education: enhancing legal and ethical literacy among athletes and sports officials, and fostering broader public discourse on the values of clean and fair sport.
