On March 11th, a meeting took place between Veronika Loginova, the Director General of RUSADA, Evgeny Pervyshov, the Acting Head of the Tambov Region, and Pavel Gritskov, the Minister of Sports for the Tambov Region. The focus of the discussion was the organization of the All-Russian Forum "Win Honestly! Anti-Doping in Youth Sports", which will take place in Tambov from April 10th to 11th of 2025.

“One of the fundamental principles of anti-doping efforts is that education should always precede doping control. It is not only young athletes who need to be aware of anti-doping regulations and the consequences of violating them, but also those around them, such as coaches and parents.

At present, there are 16 underage Russian athletes who are currently suspended due to doping violations. Our aim is to reduce this number to zero, and prevention is our main tool for achieving this goal.

The Forum will become a platform for discussing methods and processes of anti-doping support for youth sports at the national level. Participants will receive materials and recommendations on organizing preventive anti-doping work with young athletes. We will hold practical seminars on psychology for coaches and parents, share best practices in working with children of different ages, and discuss legal and medical aspects of the issue.

For the first time, participants will have the opportunity to take an educational course at the Russian International Olympic University free of charge and receive a certificate confirming advanced training.

We expect that representatives from more than 40 regions of Russia will attend Tambov this year, including sports officials responsible for anti-doping, methodologists, and coaches. All those interested in the topic of clean sport, which includes various fields such as medicine, law, sports psychology, and ethics, are welcome to attend”, - said Veronika Loginova.
