On March 12, 2019, iNADO held Workshop at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. More than 200 representatives of national anti-doping agencies, international federations, World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and International Testing Agency (ITA) attended thematic discussion panels and breakout sessions.
Two sessions on online learning and its strategic place in the anti-doping policy at the national and international levels, moderated by Russian anti-doping agency “RUSADA” Deputy Director General Margarita Pakhnotskaya, were attended by specialists from 42 countries, employees of 3 international federations and a representative of the World Anti-Doping Agency.
Deputy Director General shared RUSADA experience in implementing an educational online platform, used not as a separate tool for preventing doping in athletes’ environment, but integrated into the agency’s educational system applicable to completely different target audiences. Ms Pakhnotskaya paid special attention to the importance of continuous monitoring of online programs for their relevance to the needs of the target audience, as well as the effective achievement of the tasks set by the organisers.
