On June 27, 2019, during the 2nd Summer Forum of the Association of independent Directors (AND), RUSADA Director General Yuri Ganus was awarded the "Certified Director" qualification by the leading global center for corporate governance - the British Institute of Directors IoD. The “Certified Director” Qualification Certificate was presented by Alexander Ikonnikov, a Leading Russian expert in the field of corporate governance and boards of Directors, a member of the Board of the Global Network of Director Institutes (GNDI). During the work of the Forum, Yury Ganus gave an interview about Governance principles into action to Oksana Aulchenkova, journalist and host of Mediametrics.
At the end of the event, Yuri Ganus received an award for his contribution in introducing Good Governance principles in management of organizations as an ambassador of the AND, the largest director organization in Russia founded in 2002.
Yuri Ganus has been an active participant of the AND for more than 10 years, AND is based on the principles of honesty and professionalism. Each member of the AND signs the Charter - a set of ethical and professional standards which plays the role of guidance for a director’s activities. AND’s membership includes more than 1,200 directors and managers of public, private and state-owned companies. The Association represents the Russian Federation in the Global Network of Director Organizations (GNDI), which brings together more than 150,000 directors worldwide. With the help of the GNDI, AND members have access to advanced international experience and a network of contacts for directors, investors and experts.
